At Ada Oral & Dental Health Clinic, we care about the security of your personal data. This privacy notice has been prepared under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) to explain, as data controller, for which purposes and how we process your personal data.

2. Personal Data We Process
- Identity data: name, surname, Turkish ID number, date of birth
- Contact data: phone number, email address, address
- Special categories of personal data – health data: examination and treatment information, medical history, X-rays and digital images, intraoral photographs and scans, prescriptions and treatment plans
- Visual and audio records: security camera recordings inside the clinic; photographs and videos for promotional purposes only with your explicit consent
- Financial data: invoice and payment information
- Transaction security and website usage data: IP address, cookie data, form submission records
3. Purposes of Processing
- Receiving your appointment requests, scheduling appointments and contacting you
- Carrying out medical diagnosis, treatment and care services
- Fulfilling record-keeping, reporting and notification obligations under health legislation
- Managing invoicing, payment and private health insurance processes
- Measuring patient satisfaction and handling requests and complaints
- Ensuring the security of the premises and people
- Promotional and informational activities where you have given explicit consent
4. Legal Grounds and Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected in person at the clinic, by phone, via WhatsApp, through the appointment and contact forms on our website and our online booking system, verbally, in writing or electronically.
Your personal data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the legal grounds that it is expressly provided for by law, necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract, necessary to comply with our legal obligations, or necessary for our legitimate interests provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed. Your health data is processed under Article 6 of the KVKK by persons under a duty of confidentiality for the protection of public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, or where you have given explicit consent.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
For the purposes above and to the extent permitted by law, your personal data may be transferred to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye and related systems (such as e-Nabız), the Social Security Institution, authorised public institutions, judicial authorities, contracted private insurance companies, dental laboratories, our legal and financial advisers, and the IT infrastructure and software providers we work with. Where a transfer abroad is required (for example, communication and cloud services with servers outside Türkiye), the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK are observed.
6. Retention Period
Your personal data is kept for the periods required by the relevant legislation and for as long as the purpose of processing requires; at the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
- To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with that purpose
- To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred
- To request correction if your data is incomplete or inaccurate
- To request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK
- To request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
- To object to a result against you arising from analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems
- To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing
8. How to Apply
You can send requests regarding your rights in writing, together with documents proving your identity, by hand or by registered mail to one of our branch addresses above, or by email to klinikadadent@gmail.com. Applications are concluded as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
